A reasonable level of fitness is required, it is mainly flat walking along coastal paths and beaches, so good walking shoes or runners is advisable.  Comfortable clothing, sun hats, and sun screen in summer, and it is advisable to carry a light rain jacket and a bottle of water.

A close eye will be kept on the weather forecast, and in the event of bad conditions, everyone will be notified well in advance.
